Edits are subjective. You are under no obligation to take my editorial advice. Use what fits your creative vision and ignore what doesn’t.

Do you work with literary agencies and publishing houses?
Yes! We work with literary agencies and publishers on a per project basis, but please use or contact form to discuss possible retainer fees.
What genres do you specialize in?
I currently specialize in all subgenres of romance, including but not limited to: paranormal romance, romantasy/fantasy romance, dark romance, contemporary romance, romantic suspense, historical romance, horror romance, rom-coms, erotic romance, young adult romance and fiction books with strong romantic elements. I also accept non-romantic YA novels on a limited case-by-case basis.
Do you accept romance of all heat levels?
Yes! I am open to editing all heat levels of romance as well as all kinds of romantic relationships, including LGBTQ+, polyamorous, why choose, etc.
Do you take books with trigger warnings? Like dark romance?
Yes, absolutely!

Do you offer line edits & copyediting?
While our Deluxe Developmental edit includes some line edits, Kait is primarily a developmental editor. However, we have packaged deals with several highly qualified copyediters who would love to work with you at a discounted rate if you book our services. Please reach out via our contact email.
